What wills you to continue staying fit?

For the past two years I’ve been for the most part, working out very often and trying to stay fit. I have seen ample change, I’ve gotten larger muscles and my strength and endurance have gotten better. My problem now is, I’m losing the will to keep up with my workout. I’ve started to notice a slight weight gain that wasn’t from muscle, and I’m not looking as cut and big as a I used too. My question to you is, what wills you to continue to stay fit?

This picture is the reason why I wanted to become fit.

I saw this picture over three years ago, and I still drives me to become as fit as I can be. Every muscle on him looks strong and toned, and there isn’t an ounce of fat on him. This is what ripped looks like. Everytime I look at this picture I still feel the same way I did over three years ago, and I definitely have made significant gains. My resting HR has gotten lower (lowest I’ve seen it go was 39 bpm), my body fat is around 8.5% (last time I checked it, almost two years ago, and it could be even lower now), and my upper body has become cut with very nice abs coming in.

I try to read up on Bruce as much as possible, learning all I can about how he got so fit. This picture is what started it all, and three years later it still motivates me to become as fit as I can be.

Don’t be discouraged if you lost a little of your motivation. I tend to do that also, and usually take a week off from training just to have a break from it all. But always try to remember what motivated you in the first place to become fit, you can always find the will to continue from remembering that.

Always upping the goal. Once you reach your goal. Write down another goal and go for it. This is the one secret that the most successful people do. They are always reaching higher than before. It helps you grow in all ways. Keep your goal card on you everyday and read it all the time to remind yourself. and because you are thinking of it all the time you will be more likely to achieve it if you act. ACTION is the key.

    Good luck,
