What is the most ‘odd’ Federal or California labor/employment law that you know of?

      not sure about a law that most don’t know about but………….
      for some reason a lot of people think it is illegal for employers to release work records or say anything bad about a former employee.

      the fact is the law protects employers from any type of liability as long as they are truthful or believe they are releasing truthful information.

      so i guess although these laws are not odd they do fit your question about obscurity.
