This Q is about Wills..I was wondering how to find out if someone left me something in thier will?
I know the executor of the will has to notify the people in the will. BUT, I moved and the mail only gets forwarded for 6 months. So I don’t know if the executor has tried to contact me. Is there any way to check online to see if there is property or money waiting for me? It was a friend of mine who said he left me something but then we lost touch.

Online…………..NO. You will have to check with the executor or the courts of the county in which the will was filed after your friend died.

I assume the friend is dead. If not, you’ve got a bit of a wait.

call the probate court, in the county he lived. If the friend, did leave a will, order a copy. Then you will know. good luck
