Is a pay raise retroactive in Florida employment law? I've been approved for a raise and have been waiting….
I’ve been approved for an 8% raise and have been waiting for two months for it to be implemented in my paycheck. My manager just says, "Oh, it should be there this pay period." The chain of command isn’t clear on who on contact next….I need to know if this raise is retroactive according to Florida employment law.

Contact the jpayroll dept or Human resources and ask them what’s up.

Is it written on paper when it will take effect? If not, you just wait. Are you in a union? If so- go to them.
