I have a question concerning Texas law and employment?

What are the guidelines as far as having to work on your day off.. or are there any set rules as far as having to have at least 1 or 2 days off in texas? Does anyone have any links to give me? Would be much appreciated. Thanks!

No such laws, i dont think. texas is an a work at will state. employers can fire you or you can quit for most any reason. but we do have "blue laws" here where car dealerships cannot sell cars on saturday AND sunday, it must be one or the other!

Only guideline is that you get compensation over 40 hours. Right to work state. YOu are free to refuse; they have the right to deal with it or find someone who will work it.
