Does God have control over the wills of men according to the Bible?

If you think no, why would you worship a weak and pathetic God that doesn’t even control the affairs of His creation?

according to the bible, yes God does control everyone’s will. Cuz it even says somewhere that God predestined his "chosen people" before the creation of the universe so that also must mean that he chooses who goes to hell too. i believe in god but i dont believe in half the crap that’s in the bible, even though there are some verses i like

Because God was good enough to know that enough of us would be smart enough to obey his suggestions and keep the world alive spiritually and ethnically.

No. God created the world with real people. Real, not robotic, people must have free will.

Why would God create a world of robots who blindly worshipped him?

Without evil in the the world, we woudn’t know what good was, and we would have no need for God.

God wants people to come to him through their own free will. The Bible says that we will find God when we seek Him with all our heart. He desires us to want to draw close to Him. That part is our job.
